Abstract :

This paper discusses future visions of managing and delivering services over the internet in Technology Enhanced Learning. Current IT trend toward cloud computing [1] can open up world of knowledge to the learning communities faster, more reliably, cheaper, simpler and more effectively. Faster and more reliably - because of the technology behind where distinct services are supported by number of servers and fast and considerably reliable infrastructure. At a lower price - as current e-learning platforms require high initial cost on infrastructure and software applications while adoption of cloud computing can help reduce expenditure on infrastructure, software and human resources to considerable extent [19]. Simpler and more effectively - as unlimited number of cloud-based services enhances the opportunities for learners and teachers in the educational process.
                The goal of our work is not only to discuss advantages of the cloud computing but to study the architecture for cloud computing within Technology Enhanced Learning. We are presenting the situation of most of e-learning systems today and proposing steps to be taken in order to support the cloud concept to the community. To be more concrete, we are analyzing the model on the educational project eSEC [20] for the cloud concept based on this architecture.
